Η Νάντια Μαρκς (με πατρώνυμο Κιτρομηλίδη, από το κιτρόμηλο, δηλαδή το νεράντζι ή "πικρό λεμόνι") γεννήθηκε στην Κύπρο αλλά μεγάλωσε στο Λονδίνο. Πρώην διευθύντρια δημιουργικού και βοηθός αρχισυντάκτη σε κορυφαία γυναικεία περιοδικά της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας, έχει πλέον αφοσιωθεί στη συγγραφή. Είναι μητέρα δύο αγοριών και ζει στο Βόρειο Λονδίνο με τον σύντροφό της Μάικ.
