Alex T. Smith (Συγγραφέας)
Ο Άλεξ Τ. Σμιθ γεννήθηκε το 1985 και είναι συγγραφέας και εικονογράφος. Γράφει και ζωγραφίζει από τότε που έμαθε πώς να κρατάει το μολύβι. Σπούδασε εικονογράφηση και αποφοίτησε με άριστα. Κατά τη διάρκεια του τελευταίου έτους του στο πανεπιστήμιο, κέρδισε τη δεύτερη θέση για το Βραβείο Macmillan για εικονογράφηση παιδικού βιβλίου. Από τότε έχει συνεργαστεί με πολλούς συγγραφείς ενώ ταυτόχρονα γράφει και εικονογραφεί τα δικά του έργα. Είναι δημιουργός της σειράς "ΚΛΟΝΤ". Το πρώτο βιβλίο της σειράς επιλέχθηκε για τη λέσχη ανάγνωσης Richard & Judy το 2011 και ήταν υποψήφιο για το Waterstones Children’s Book Prize το 2012. Η σειρά έχει μεταφραστεί σε πάνω από 15 γλώσσες και έχει μεταφερθεί με επιτυχία στην τηλεοπτική οθόνη, καθώς προβάλλεται στο κανάλι Disney Junior.
